It is a gentle, rhythmic massage for the head, shoulders, neck and back. It is a traditional massage used in families, in barbershops and on streets in India. Additional holistic healing techniques are taught on this course to enhance your skills and healing abilities.
The Indian Head Massage Training Course is both for beginners and also experienced therapists who want to add to their skills. The average class size is 12. The course involves a 2-day training workshop, (10am – 6pm), 10 treatments (to be completed in 3-4 months & a short practical & written assessment on a follow up review evening.
A course manual is provided and there is a recommended text book (currently under £10). The diploma is given on successful completion of the 10 treatments, which are written up as case notes & the practical & written assessments.
